Value for money European optics, on eBay.

I was passing the time on the throne looking to see what fixed power 4x scopes were around and came across this gem.
The company sounds very reputable.

ZRAK 4x32N riflescope

ZRAK is a specialist in optical sights and equipment located in Sarajevo in the European nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The factory was formed in 1948 after the end of World War II.

The ZRAK 4x32N reflects the long tradition of high-class optics from Europe.

Using the best quality multi coated Schott Glass from Germany and with a design licenced from Swarovski, ZRAK hunting scopes offer performance equivalent to the best European makes at a competitive price.

The 1st picture didn't look quite as refined as most European made scopes but for $550 I guess all the money went on the glass and not the finish.

But the turrets didn't seem as well finished either.

But despite the great write up by the fella that did the history of these "quality" scopes they obviously didn't include him in the design team, or maybe they got after firing old mate on the design team.

Yes, I was searching for other euro optics and his ad came up on SSAA gun sales. I googled "zrak rifle scopes" and looked at comments on shooting forums, but found even the people who seem to like them are struggling to find something good to say about them. Did not seem as encouraging as I had initially hoped.

Considering they are "located in Sarajevo in the European nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina" but the scope that I imagine they wanted to asy was made in Austria for whatever reason is spelt Australia I'm not thinking there is anything remotely European about them unless China has recently joined the EU.
