Swarovski rail

Post by Ok Hunter »

Paging Corjack.

I have come into possession of a Swarovski rail scope with an adapter mount that fits a picatinny rail mount. Does anyone know who makes this rail adapter mount? I would be interested in seeing what the cost is and who makes them. Thanks.

With out a picture, I am going to guess it is one of the Bulgarian made mounts.

Really? I didn't know they made them. That's good to know. Where can some be purchased?

They have become very hard to find in this country. Euro Optics used to sell them and might still have a set around. The last published price I saw for them was $169. They are the Swarovski "Weaver Style Cross Slot Mount'. I have one set left that isn't for sale. I suspect Pigeon could send us some if somebody got desperate. The Recknagel ones Pigeon brought up are very nice too. I had a set of those a couple years ago and traded them to Corjack. They're well made but a tad pricy.

Never seen those Swarovski-Weaver parts in Germany at all. Guess they made them only for the American market...

Those Recknagel items I mentioned above are very high Quality and work flawless! Plus they are just 7 mm in height! I sold a lot of them so far and all customers have been happy with them - no Problems or so ever...! And one more: outside EU, You don´t have to pay the VAT, which is shown in my Price - so you could calculate about 16% off... ,... so you come closer to that other Price...

That Reknagel is 184,87 € for Export outside EU...

I am surprised that they weren't sold there. Very interesting. I forget about us not having to pay that VAT which is figured in your pricing. Having seen and handled the Recknagel I agree that they were impressive and quite small. Thanks!

Pigeon,

Is there a Recknagel product (or some other brand) that would attach to a Swaro rail scope, but have a one piece mount (like the Blaser saddle type mount) that attaches to a Picatinny rail? I ask as I'd like something that would allow me to attach a Swaro rail scope to an AR-15 and have it re-zero after taking off the gun.

Hi Mark,

well, yes there it is:

A one Piece Mount from Innomount with a Weaver on the bottom and SR Rail on the top, having QD Levers (which work similar like the ones at your bicycle´s wheels. It is reliable and Comes in different hights:

Pigeon / Klaus,

Thank you for your response. I hate to sound stupid (but frequently do), but having a Weaver mount on the bottom means it'd be compatible with a Picatinny mount?

Also, would it "re-zero" as well as something like a LaRue quick-detach mount?

Sorry - I have seen this message 3 years later ;-) - Yes it would work re-zero without a doubt if installed correct. Picatinny and Weaver are mainly the same, just the width of the slots are different, but with most scope mounts it works with both. Innogun has a small piece which transfers the recoil, which is available for Picatinny at request with no extra price ...

I am always interested in everything new. I read the 2019 Arizona Hunt Report here this man used Swarovski BTX 30X65 and Swarovski 10X32 EL binoculars on the hunt I have a Swarovski model 8.5 × 42 EL is the best all around glasses for general hunting but they are inadequate for spotting javelina at 1-2 miles this review https://opticzoo.com/best-binoculars-fo ... g-reviews/.
