Leica 2000b Rangefinder EHR

Post by 9.3x64 »

Hi,
Can anyone please explain how I check if I have my 2000b rangefinder setup for the EHR correctly?

What does the display look like after a reading.
Does it have 2 distances displayed, one for a straight line measurement and one which adjusts for the angle of the shot?

When I scroll through the menu it says...
EU5, 100, and then ehr.
Does this sound correct?

I do not have that rangefinder, but I do have their geovid binoculars with built in rangefinder. The display you just described sounds correct. Mine does not display both ranges at the same time. Rather, it gives you the non-adjusted range first (for only about a second - really quick) and then displays the angle adjusted range.

Thankyou Ant, that makes sense.
Sounds like I have it set correctly.
