Looks like it's worth the money.

The technology is definitely getting better every year, I can only imagine the optics we will be using in another 20 years.
I'm soft and I don't care.

I want a night vision scope. Just need to get educated on them to know what to buy. If any of you Blaserbuds are knowledgeable in such black magic, please educate me, I know nothing.

Thermal is better then night vision, and digital NV is better then the old photon tube stuff.
I don't know if that helps, but if you have the coin then thermal is the king.
It does have one disadvantage, I've noticed in the desert you have to wait for the ground to cool before it works, if the background is similar to body temperature then the target will ghost in and out of view.
When there is a 10-15° (Celsius) difference then animinals stand out like Hillary Clinton in a men's club, oh wait that's when things are a similar temperature.

There are plenty of youtube comparisons of just about everything by professionals in Texas who hunt hogs. Lonestar boars is a good channel.
