Kahles Red Dot

Post by Corjack »

While I was ordering optics a few weeks ago, I ordered one of the new Kahles Red dot sights. 2 MOA dot, one Moa adjustments, comes with weaver style base. Got a 45/70 guide gun waiting to receive it.

Side on pic please?

How is the battery change? Same as the Doctor where you remove the sight from the firearm?

Hopefully someone will make a Blaser QD base for them.

I really like that bottom mount. Would have to be the lowest mount I have ever seen. Would certainly give you good cheek weld.

yes, but this depends on how Your own Anatomie is. My neck is too long, so in general I prefer "normal" hight to a bit higher - which fits me better then some optics which are that flat on the barrel. ;-)

But yes, this is the lowest mount for it from what I have found: just 3,5mm in height!

The open sights are the correct height for me on my 500 Jeffrey, I just can't see them clearly.
I imagine this mount would work well for me?

Yes please Klaus. Please send me PayPal request for HMS mount only, to fit Docter 3.
Thankyou Allan

Hello Corjack,

Did you manage to test the RD? I saw it at the Jagd und Hund show in Dortmund and kind of liked it.The guys on the Kahles stand were very friendly ,helpful and had one of the best attitudes.I also checked the Binoculars+range finder combo. I'm planing on ordering one Helia RD for the M98 mauser I have. The first shipment of those sights in my area is due in two weeks and they gave me 12% off on the retail price. First hand input will be very helpful.
Thanks.

Best regards,
Jordan
