Vortex Razor HD 3-15x42
Hello guys,
Does anyone of you have any experience with this scope?
I want to know if glass is good and to what it can be compared.
Thanks.
Best regards,

Re: Vortex Razor HD 3-15x42
Have you looked through any Razor HD Jordan?
The glass is pretty fine and there are a lot of worse options!
Razor’s are heavy.
So as a hunting scope, there are other options like digging the hand in the pocket a bit deeper and get a Swaro Z8.
Razor HD glass is well above average.

Re: Vortex Razor HD 3-15x42
I'm using the Vortex Razor LHT 3-15X42 and 4.5-22 version as well.
I've shot them as a primary scope for competitions and they seem to track really well.
They are nice and lightweight.
Only complaint is that they don't dial down quite enough to hunt at night for wild boar here in Texas.

I have had three over the years. Each time because I wanted to save some money……..finally went Swarovski and never looked back. The difference is realized after you use them for bit of time. Save the remorse and time and spend the extra for Swaro. You’ll never be happy comparatively. Spend more now saves you in the longer run. Been there!

Optically it is similar to Leupold VX-5.
For European companies; Delta has the same marketing strategy with optics built in China and Japan. Some of the Delta models are dead ringers from the same factory as Vortex Razor range made in by Light Optics World in Japan.
If you look at German Precision Optics GPO, those are all made in China of European glass.
There are some other European optics companies that use LOW as a manufacture. I think Delta, DD Optics, Trijicon, Nightforce and many others.
