Nah, my mates Chorizo cooked on a wire around a campfire, then placed in a Vietnamese roll.

Bloody tasty, I call it the heroin of meats.
I'm soft and I don't care.

Finally got around to the pickled eggs and sausage with Franks Hot Sauce.
Weather looking good in a couple of days so have lined up a mate, some nicely chilled vino and the pickled eggs. We'll sit under a tree , sample the wares and watch the world go by.
Unfortunately my kids tend to agree with Speedy and look at as flatulence in a bottle

I had some crushed red pepper and followed the recipe fairly closely. The pickling spice was a ready mixed one from the local spice shop.
How did yours turn out and have you managed a taste test yet?

Good to hear. Must say that in the end I tossed all the spice mix in and there was meant to be enough for 2 litres of liquid
Taste test Tuesday.
