Not a bad feed

Post by SPEEDY »

This little bungalow place I'm staying at ATM includes a buffet style set menu for breakfast lunch and dinner.

But I didn't realise they bought the buffet to you, we only just started eating and they bought even more out.
Best of all its incredible, definitely the best soup I've ever had.

Although the missus didn't know why I got so excited at the name if the place, or why I broke out the gopro as soon as we got to the room.

Looks a bit flash compared to KFC at Albury.

Just had breakfast, now I'm expected to go snorkeling and I'm fit to burst, a nice big fried rice and a prawn and octopus soup.
Add the view into the equation and it's paradise.

Even the feed on the boat is awesome and the whole day visiting the reefs and swimming with the fish is included in the price.
Despite the rough sleeping arrangement this place is awesome, every bite is incredible and I found out why.

The family that runs the "resort" is a Thai fishing family, so while mum and dad run the tours and the kitchen the kids still fish for a living, so it's sort of paddock to the plate Thai style.

I will put some video of swimming with the fish in the video section when I get home.

Tonight's dinner did me in, I'm so full I can't even bring myself to fish now dinner is done.
Table served meals of tomato, prawn and omelet soups, stir fried crab , baked fish all with a bucket of rice.
Then on top there is an all you can eat buffet of grilled prawns, razor clams and the freshest most tender squid I've ever tasted.
Even the pineapple and watermelon that comes as desert was the sweetest I think I've ever had.

Looks good, but I think it was more likely stir fried "carp."

Just finished lunch and I got the bill.
Two nights, two breakfast, 2 dinners and 3 lunches for under $250 including the day snorkeling for two.
I'm definitely coming back.
