Its auscams too, but we use the Belgium Shepard not the German for attack dogs and all sorts of mongrels for tracking and bomb detection.
I've seen kelpie and other sheep dogs used by engineers at Enoggera.

The teckel skills for this task were superior, as it actually found and stopped on the liver, even though it wasn't trained by a german hunter, and its blood line was show lines from Japan
