Blaserbud Associate Training

Post by mchughcb »

My friend who is keen to get an R8 called me up when I was on business and we got out before work to give his dog a run. She's coming along nicely.

Nice dog and good training, but then it is a GWP ( I've owned three).

Think the dog is 12 months and i don't think he trains others. His aunt owns the kbono kennels in SA.

Hardly ever see a GWP in my neck of the woods, but I've always thought they were a good looking breed. I used to (back when I was more into bird hunting) want to try one as a pheasant/quail/duck dog.

Fair enough , thanks.
I’m possibly looking at getting one in about 3 years when I have more time.

Ive been out with several guys with gwp and this one by far is the best trained but he put a lot of effort in and he wants it primarily for ducks.

Did you mean Kobnko, Charles ? Owned by Trish Bond ? Or ? If so, they would be my first choice if I were to get another drathaar.

That dog could be a twin of mine (now gone) appearance wise :) I like the full chocolate colour :) .

Okay, I stand corrected. Kobnko is where my other mate got his GWP. This one is from Ostoja in SA. Glad to have the blaserbuds to keep me on the straight an narrow ;)
