She went for her 1st run down the lake today, she did good having a splash and she naturally wants to stay close but keeps her nose to the ground.
Wasn't afraid to stand up to pelicans either, even when they could swallow get for a snack, she ius fearless that's for sure.

It doesn't matter what you shoot as long as you shoot

She already sits, fetches comes to her name and whistle.

I got a length of fox skin and have been making drags, she will follow them a few meters unless she gets distracted by the other dog, in which case she chases her off 1st.

She is protective of me and her snacks.
Just need to get another strip of fox, the whippet found the other strip yesterday arvo on the bench and it's been thoroughly used as a chew toy.

Lucky road kill around here is plentiful.

Don’t forget to expose her to plenty of noise and work her up to a gunshot.
I had a mate (lol) that had a jack Russell and never exposed it to noise.
The dog followed him up a dam enbackment where he emptied the snotty at a heap of ducks.
I have never seen a dog run so fast yelping. It never was able to get used to guns.

I took her out yesterday to pattern a new shotgun, she never even flinched.
I'm going to take her every week to get her used to shots while she is still little, the trick is a treat after every shot.
