Off to the vet again for a check up on them all this afternoon, fingers crossed for an all clear, but maisie is doing incredibly well.

No, and she never will unfortunately.

She had a vet check up today and she's doing really well, her blood is getting back to normal and is way up from last week.
If she gets the all clear next Tuesday then she will be able to sleep with the pups again and I will wean them and give them some milk too.

Its a bit early to start weaning them Tuesday ?
Goats milk is the easiest for the pups to digest

I'm using proper formula for them, Maisie is getting a cup or two a day too because it's so packed with nutrients she needs.
Two weeks will be an introduction to solid food, but it's only going to be puppy biscuits soaked I milk for them.
Tuesday will be 16 days old, their eyes will be open and they are getting their teeth now so they should be ready about then I hope.

Just a little update, mums doing really really well, back to her old self again so that's a huge relief.
The pups are getting big and eating solid food now, they are starting to run around like proper puppies should and are starting to work out who's the boss.
So everything is starting to get back to normal now.

That's great news Speedy. Make things a bit easier for you now.

That's great,
Would be a relief they are coming along.
I've got to admit that Jacks are a tough dog and attitude to fit.

It's been good, they don't even want much milk any more, now they want wheat bix and milk or mince.
Once they start drinking more water, I can finally get a solid 8 hours.
But they are 4 weeks now, so next Sunday they might be able to move outside in the yard and I can get my kitchen floor back.
