I've read a lot about Pronghorn hunting and it seems hard enough to get within 300 yards for a rifle shot never mind a bow  looking forward to the hunting reports

The recovered bullet from the boar weighed 32.7 grains, so the retained weight was 60% of the starting weight of 55 grains. This is very much what I would suspect for a standard cup and core bullet construction. The good news is that it did not shed the jacket, and the penetration was fantastic for such a lightly constructed bullet, 11" through tough muscle is very good in my opinion. I was expecting more like 6-8". Regardless, if 6-8 0r 10-12, this would dictate a broadside shot and would require judgment and restraint to avoid raking shots.

Here is a pic of the little 55 grain Lapua soft point bullet that I recovered alongside an unfired one for comparison.

I just saw an interesting BD14 video on YouTube that I have not seen before.
I must be slow as I haven't noticed it before. Made by some bloke by the name of Bob Stokes and quite a good watch if you have not seen it yet.

You should market it to blaser. I've made more videos than blaser on the bbf and Sauer on their drillings for goodness sake.

I heard a rumor that I'm no longer the only one in the BD14 lonely hearts club.

Hmm still haven't sold the other two BD14 even after a shot show. I'd be taking a dollar off for every pair of hands that's been on them. That should bring the price down to a BBF price point.
