S2 Double in Africa

Post by JonoJoseph »

Hi every one

I was looking for some help i have managed in the past to regulate my S2 and it works great.
it is a 470NE and it shoots like a dream.

Here is my dilemma, I have replaced the front barrel cap for a new one about a year back.
How ever in the last 3 weeks my left barrel managed to start shooting about 2" high at 25meters.

I know there is no setting for this has anyone got any experience with this.
If please give me some sort of direction to work in.
This rifle has shot a fair 1000+ shots at least and it works hard but i cannot fix this new issue

I apprieciate any help

Thank you

It sounds like the front barrel cap has loosened and allowed the left barrel to shift position. Is the barrel cap still tight?
One gent on here regulated his own barrels last year and there is a thread but I'm not smart with the computers and links. Sorry.
It doesn't matter what you shoot as long as you shoot

Here is a post how i helped regulate a S2 safari in 375 H&H. I would suggest your end cap has come loose and allowed the barrels to rotate with respect to each other.
