Well, the first thing you notice when you pick up a BD14 is just how compact it is, absolutely beautiful!
I mean compact, not just for a drilling, but compact for any gun.
Everything is exactly how I ordered it and in perfect condition. The fit of wood to timber is superb.
The decocker and for end release are smooth and simple to use.
It points lively and feels fantastic in the hands.
Bob, I notice I have received a detailed BD14 owner's manual, something I remember you mentioned was unavailable when yours was delivered.
I also received a waffenpass, steel shot label, and 2 small hex keys. I have no idea what they are for yet?
It also came with 2 fitted fabric slips for transport.
Now the big thing I really want to highlight is....
the triggers!!
Absolutely unreal, best I have ever felt on a hunting gun.
They are better than my R8 or any other hunting rifle I own by far.

A big thankyou to Joshua Mcbrayer from Blaser for the opportunity to handle a left hand BD14 at the factory last August, and a great factory tour.
And thankyou to Tosi and Kaine from Mialls gunshop for being so easy and reliable to deal with as always.

Did I mention how nice the triggers are... :D :D :D

That looks amazing Allan, well done on being the 1st Aussie BlaserBud to actually pull the trigger on the BD14. I love the Grade 4 timber, looks superb. :handgestures-thumbup:

Looks great and I'm glad its found a home its not going to get smashed a lot. As much as I love the idea of it, I'm not sure I could bring myself to drag it through my weekly hunting grind. I've got bark missing off all the guns now and that's far too pretty to be subjected to that kind of treatment.

Hope you get it regulated and out hunting soon.

Having said that, it would go nicely with the stutzen with those sublime black receivers 8-)

Sweet looking rig...though not sure Queensland will allow you to stay in the state with that ....far too much taste!
