K-95 Barrel Exchange

Post by Hawk in WY »

I have three K-95's all .243.

Elmer does barrels for the R-93. Does he also do K-95's?

If I find a factory K-95 barrel will it need fitting?

Thank you for the education.

A K-95 would be a completely different animal. If he were to do it, you'd have to pay for all the machine-time setup and research. And likely provide him a factory to measure off of.

At miniumum.

Sounds like Elmer is not an option.

If I buy a K-93 barrel which seem to be available from time to time, would that likely drop in or is fitting required?

Thank you for your response.

The official stance of Blaser is that K95 barrels should be fitted to the action. However, my personal experience has been that fitting was not needed and to my knowledge none of us have required fitting for our additional barrels. Blaser USA offered to fit my barrels for free but I would have to pay for shipping to them.

Holler at me if you want to sell one of those 243 barrels.
