Re: K95 Owners Association
Didn't say I would shoot it, just that I'd love one.
We all want something sometimes that might not be practical, or particularly smart, just because it's cool.
I'm soft and I don't care.

K95 in 9.3x74R is way cool kicks hard but not terrible. If you can handle a 12 gauge slug you can handle it. I want to shoot a bear with mine. Kills deer fine also

Re: K95 Owners Association
I'd have just liked it for one off hunts for Buff and similar type game, the 30/06 will do pretty much everything I want, this would have just been for rare hunts on bigger stuff.
I'd get an 8x57IRS but it really has no advantages over the 30/06 for big game.

I also have a 30-06 barrel and it gets more use than my other 4 barrels but they are all fun and glad I have them

58.0 grains IMR4350 165 Nosler Partition. This is my all around load I have used for years on Antelope, deer etc. Historically I used 57.0 grains but 58.0 shoots way better in my K95.

Re: K95 Owners Association
Good choice, I used the 175gn partition as my go to round for the 308win.
I am currently running the 150gn Barnes but I'm not sure about it, the partition works on everything and the barnes has limitations.
