Re: K95 Owners Association
The way things are I'd say 9 months is pretty good. If James' K95 turns up in two months, I'd call that pretty good also.
I've been pleasantly surprised today by a couple of items arriving much sooner than I expected.

I'm actually thinking about getting a 4-14x or 4-16x ect, maybe even a 6-24x for a spotlighting rig for foxes.
I don't like big scopes for my rifles but as a varmint gun it does fit.
I'm soft and I don't care.

Re: K95 Owners Association
I actually was talking to my cousin, I sold him my old roo shooting rife 20 years ago.
He finally swapped it out and said I could have it back. It's a Japanese made Tasco 6-24,nit nearly as good as the Kahles I already have for it, but it will let me know what magnification I find the most optimal.
It's also a little nostalgic, remind me of when I was a kid a bit and get me back to the fundamentals for a while.
Odds are the Kahles will go back on it anyway.

Re: K95 Owners Association
I like different scopes for different uses, for big game, lower powers are preferred. I normally carry my Z8i 1.7-13.3 X 42 set on 1.7 and figure if the range is long I have plenty of time to set things up properly for the shot or I don't shoot. Now that I've done that for a while it is surprising how many animals I have shot just as it is carried with the very low magnification of 1.7. It has not failed me yet even on 200 yard shots. On longer shots I find that 13.3 is plenty high enough for 600 yard deer.

K95 Jaeger with 7x57R round barrel and saving for the complementing 22 hornet barrel.
"That if you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on the animal’s terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always recapture the day." —R.Ruark

Re: K95 Owners Association
I just got the 6.5 CM and my first back to back test at 300 yards showed them shooting extremely close to each other in terms of precision. The barrel of the newer 6.5 CM is slightly heavier at the muzzle and it's average group size was nominally smaller. My next comparison will be swapping barrels and receivers to see what difference, if any, that makes as they seem to fit.

Re: K95 Owners Association
I'm pretty sure you will see no difference from receiver to receiver. At least my two K95's shoot the same.
I've had both 6.5X55 and 6.5 Creedmoor in an R8 and the Creedmoor was more accurate, but only by a small amount. Essentially they were the same, shot the same bullet at the same speed, so trajectory was the same, but the Creedmoor was easier to work up accurate loads for.
