So bitten the bullet and scratched my itch. Order gone in for a K95 in 7x57R. I do reload for my 6.5x55 but plan initially to use factory and see how I get on.
I’m told RWS would work but keen to pick collective brains on here.
What factory ammo would you recommend? Mainly shooting roe, fallow and the odd red.

Norma makes ammo for the 7x57r, 156gn Oryx and 160gn Tip Strike. I don't have your specific caliber but their ammo shoots well in other calibers I have.

I’ve had very good results with Norma, RWS And S&B. I shoot a Merkel K3 and I have found it likes the heavier pills vs anything under 150grns. Believe it or not the 173grn S&B factory round is the most accurate in my rifle and performance on whitetail has been very good out to 200M.

Wow some shooting. Will have s look at S&B. Can get the 162gr RWS and 156gr Norma.
