Eddie K95 is perfect for mountain hunting. I am still trying to figure out my scope for “ long range” but the rifle barrel combo is perfect for me.

I guess that would depend on what you think long range is, it's a different distance for all of us and it seems to change depending on circumstances and technology.

Anything over 300 yards to a maximum of 600 yards is long range for me.

I probably would not go over a 14x then if it was me, 16x at an absolute maximum.
I'd probably go a z3 4-12x50, if I'm lugging it weights an issue and I like simple.
I don't like high magnification scopes.
