Not really a full review or anything just my initial impression of it after the first shots were fired.
I scoped it with the 1-4 spot hog scope from my Adler and got it zeroed in 5 shots then shot a 3" 5 shot group at 50m with GB foster slugs, very happy with that seeing as I forgot my rest and shot off my elbows from the Ute bonnet.
I pattern tested it then with 4 different shell's at 35m with a HS Undertaker turkey choke.
You will have to pardon the bad photos, I just used some old water damaged boxes.
I then loaded it with 5 GB 42gm BB mini mags and saw how fast I could fire it while staying on target.
Well firstly it's a lot better quality then other strait pull and lever action shotguns I handled, the wood isn't half bad either.
The trigger has a little play but is quite light for a shotgun, the safety is a little fiddly to put on, I had to roll my hand under it, but the scope had a bit to do with that.
Taking it off was simple and easy and that's more important.
The recoil was surprisingly mild considering the loads I used and it was comfortable on my cheek.
Extraction was very easy and smooth, I could do it with my trigger finger without taking it from my shoulder.
All in all I'm very happy with it and find it 10x better then the Adler and it's not much slower to cycle, but easier on the hand and holds a sight picture while doing it.
