I gave something different a go today, 12ga to 20ga chamber adapters.
All I had was Diana 1oz #9 trap shot, but the pattern was even with no holes, I shot at 20m and the painted area was about 700mm square. Not a lot of kill in the #9's as they didn't penetrate the wood, but on the bright side I got to pattern on the other side for a comparison.
Gun was my pop's old SxS with 24" open chokes (cousin used steel in the full choke barrel" and I was very impressed.
I shot a round at F&G on the practice range, and 41/50 including doubles from a guy with nerve damage was pretty good I think. Usually I'm around 30-35/50 with the 12ga so I might be able to get back to my pre damage shooting at this rate.
Tried something different.

I got a hold of some 24gm #7.5's and 20 pellet #3 buckshot, gave a go a 25 yards.
