Beretta Silver Hawk @ 100m

Post by SPEEDY »

I've been shooting my home converted trap loads with a Lyman 525 style slug at 100m
But it's proven a bit much for the chains holding the gong, damn these things hit hard.

I'm soft and I don't care.

Well done Speedy....I see that you've mastered the "Sylvester Stallone" style of acting.

Cheers

I got some new bolts for the chains, trying them out hopefully tomorrow, good to see consistency rather then hitting a lucky shot and going see that was easy.

I picked up the wads today from my converted trap load slugs, sitting on two 20ga over shot cards they don't stick in the base or get messed up in anyway.
I think I've finally got cheap easy slugs sorted out, it only took 3 years and 5 different shotguns to end up at this point.

I had the Smith make a rail up for it, should be a lot better out to 100m now, he even managed to do it without molesting the gun in any way so with the original sight back on it you couldn't tell that it had been modified in any way.
