I have added a new shotgun, lets say I shot a few with it too, Just for the pure fun of it.
As the gov started to show intrest in restrictions I just had to buy the FN SLP MK1 it holds eight in the tube and one in shamber and you can easily empty it all in the target in less then two seconds.

Nice shotgun. Joe Biden would say you have 7 too many shots available!

2 Browning 12 ga SxS's and a Mossberg 500 also in 12 ga. I don't shoot a shotgun very often.

For a bird gun I have a Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon II 26" 12 ga fitted to me with Exhibition grade Claro Walnut stock and a Bennelli Ultralight 20 ga.
For a Turkey Gun I have a Remington 870 Ulta Mag 12 ga 3 1/2", Camo with a red dot sight.
For a Deer Gun I have a Remington 870 Super Slug with a Leupold 3-9 scope. This is a dedicated slug gun so no barrel changes for it.
I also have a Remington 11-87 with multiple barrels. I've taken 18 turkeys with it since I bought it in 1987. But I like the 870's better.
Then I have a 20 ga rifled slug barrel for my TC Encore but the Remington Super Slug is more accurate.

I have the Beretta 391 Trap model. Really like it. Also Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III small gauge set(410 and 28ga bbls) Joel Etchen. Both gauges have several screw in chokes. Browning Gold 10ga shotgun(autoloader) Takes care of all my shotgun needs. Carl L.

I Only have 2 Browning 12 ga SxS's. A Fausti 20 ga SxS. A hatfield 28 ga O/U and a Mossberg 500 Short barrelled home defense gun. Not much of a shotgun guy.

32 inch , standard black action , grade 8 wood .
I have had some Briley titanium chokes altered and customised for it .
I'm in the process of negotiating for a 3 barrel set so that I have all the gauges , but the seller needs them until his replacement gun arrives .
So I bought a complete set of Briley tubes all gauges to use while I wait .

I will keep this gun for a long time .
I owned my previous shotgun for 20 years and probably put close to 90,000 rounds through it , mostly clays , but a lot of game was harvested as well .

Try having the forcing cone opened up by a competent gunsmith. If that fails get some rubber buckshot shoot at your neighbors, and yell "Stinkin commies!" At the top of your lungs. This will surely get your organs harvested in the appropriate chineese prison.

After using a 20g sxs on the weekend I free the need to get one. At 2.5kg it was light and effective.

2 Merkel under and overs both 12 gauge, and 2 Merkel drillings one 12 gauge and one 20gauge.

My favorite is a Merkel under and over sidelock I ordered a few years ago.
Heavily engraved fantasy foliage sidelocks and barrel breech.
Colour case hardened sidelocks, with each of my dogs (German shorthaird pointer & English cocker spaniel) inlaid in silver on each side from photographs I sent Karola Knoth, one of Merkels master engravers. I have the test sketchs she sent me framed hanging on the wall in my house.
Stock is made to my dimensions in the most beautiful piece of Turkish walnut I have ever personally seen.
This gun is a very personal item to me and the only shotgun I can honestly say fits me perfectly.
I will never sell it.
Life is too short to hunt with an ugly dog.

9.3X64, That sounds like a wonderful gun. A lot of people don't value engraving on a gun, I've shown people my Winchester 63 engraved by Angelo Bee and told them how long it took for him to complete it. I've had some say "can't they just program a computer to do that"? It's lost to them.
Post some pics if you can, I would like to see your Merkels.
