I want one but it might as well be a Unicorn
I have been drooling over an MTs 225 for a while now but cant find anyone that has ever stocked them or even anyone that has actually handled one.

Has anyone here anywhere in the world seen one in person and does anyone know where one might be bought?

Speedy I have had a very good look at them with my smithy mate a few months ago in the Rossi and they are truly a piece of junk. There the close you will get to owning a legal hand gun why having a rifle. We had a look down the barrel with a bore cam from new. It took longer than a well copper filled barrel to get all the black crap out of it. Once that was done the tooling issues was just fuggle as you put it. The trigger was just cheap tin that would wear out in no time at all. IMO and the Smithy's as well there just rubbish. The rifle we looked at was the 410/.45 COLT Circuit Judge. I really wouldn't be comfortable fire this rifle after a bit of abuse was ran through it. Very cheap and nasty IMO.

Some of the tactical options are awesome but at the end of the day the platform sux.
I dont think I will ever get my hands on one, I might just put a rail and sights on the IAC.
