Geco Brass in 30-06
Well here is this years and last years sambar rounds that I finally had to reload because I almost ran out. I'm glad to say I'm up to the 4th reload and they seem to be doing very well. Reloads are sitting down from ADI maximum by a grain and I've only had to trim them about once which is good because it cuts into sambar time. While I know the RWS brass is better, for the price the RWS Geco line is hard to beat and I'd say up there with Lapua and Norma.

Re: Geco Brass in 30-06
I honestly can tell no difference between Geco and RWS brass. They appear to be the same except headstamp to me. Same weight and distribution of weight same rim thickness same primer pocket uniforming results. So, it appears to me that RWS simply rebranded their ammo and brass to sell at a lower price point and avoid erosion of their premium brand.

Same product line from the same factory just different finishing standard according to a long time RWS dealer here - the final polish before loading is omitted, hence the annealing mark, and bullets are just TMs rather than anything fancy/proprietary.
Fun question, who is the current importer and are they still importing /selling brass as a component?
