It’s currently cheaper for a box of 50 FMJ 123g Jakt Match 8x57JS ammo than 50 unprimed brass
Anyone use this round in any chambering? I gather they are designed to shoot similar trajectory to heavier loads for training purposes.

Re: Norma JaktMatch ammo
I've used it for training with my 308 and 9,3 - and as a cheap source of my own once-fired brass. Works fine for training on running targets. Wouldn't use it for anything else. Also tried 6BR jaktmatch ammo thinking it might be OK for bird hunting - but precision was poor.

I cleaned Graeme Forbes out when he was having his end of agency sales of most of his Geco 196gr PLUS ammo, very accurate in my R8 8x57 and my old Mauser M12 and a great round too. If you need the brass why not, would be great as a training round.
