Anyone have experience reloading (or even shot at all) in this calibre?
Have an offer of a very nearly new barrel, bolt face, dies etc in this calibre, and looking for some user experiences
Any help appreciated

Hey mate
I’ve started working a load for my 338 r8. I’m no expert but so far I’ve tried the 285 eldm with 2217 powder and it’s grouping just under 1inch at 100m. Velocity is around 2750. Also tried some 300 grain Sierra match kings with both 2217 and 2225 powder yet to find a load that groups under 1 inch.

Any further luck with grouping? Bought the barrel recently, and some 230gr ELD-X bullets to load her up with, hoping to see better accuracy than 1” at 100m.
