Chargemaster X 2

Post by Corjack »

A couple months ago I picked up another RCBS 1500. Going to tune both up, so I can throw charges faster. Charging a 100 cases on one, has you spending half the time waiting on the pan to fill. This should make things a lot faster.

Since I put a "thingamajig" from Shooting Shed on my Chargemaster and reprogrammed the firmware mine runs a lot faster. Of course I am usually running 75-80 grains of powder.

I also love the Chargemaster especially when tuned up. It would be good to have two.

Not running as much powder as you are but did the same mods and works a treat. Having two going will be an excellent move.

Sold mine recently and went a different route.
Got a AND FX-120 with Autothrow and Autotrickler combo.
Drops a charge faster than I can seat and measure the CBTO.

Probably going to do one of those next year. They have the V3 out now that you can set with your iPad or phone. They are kinda in short supply. Will wait until more available.

Used my double set up for the first time today. Was not much trouble tuning them to each other at all. Gotta match Saturday, loaded up about 105 rounds. Sure breezed right through them. Glad I did this.

Yup, I got that one with Bluetooth, but also with all the Area 419 bells and whistles.
