I have a Blaser R8 in caliber 30-06 which shoots extremely accurate with Norma Oryx 165 gr factory ammunition. I have now several once fired cases which I want to reload. Since the rifle shoots so accurate with the factory ammunition, I want to use the same bullet as it is a good hunting bullet.
Does anybody know which powder does Norma use in the factory ammunition?
Thanks

Re: Norma Oryx 165 gr 30-06 factory ammunition
I have no idea what powder they use in their factory ammunition. In their reloading manual, for the 165gr Oryx, they list 58.0-61.0 grains of MRP at 3.169"/80,5mm overall length. They also list Norma 203-B, URP & 204 for other 165gr bullets.
