If your experiencing a lack of performance out of a 375 it is because your not cleaning it properly :D :D

HI Kevin,
Don't take my comments about the .375 being weak as serious. It's an ongoing string of humor about how tuf Sambar can be to anchor. So is the comments about barrel cleaning. You'll learn about our humor as your grow to know us.

Don't worry stokesrj, I knew it was humorous and I like it ;) As I said I hope one day to hunt a big sambar deer and then I like to use big calibers. When I had my .375 H&H magnum barrel I used it to hunt a roebuck on my buddy's territory. A bit overkill but it did the job. Same thing last year when I bought my Leica magnus and put it on the .375 H&H magnum, I used it to hunt a fox.
That's why I want to try my new .458 Lott on a red Deer only if the result on target is good the next time ;)
If you want I can post you two Namibian hunting reports written and posted elsewhere ? I hunted in this country 8 times and two other trips are planned for the next year and always with my Blaser rifles. I love this country and I hunted in different places (Omaheke, Khomas, Hardap, Bushmanland, Kunene and Caprivi strip) but one day I will go in others countries ;)

Bienvenue et un plaisir de vous rencontrer.

Your English is far superior to my French - that's a lot of rifle for fox and Reds but in the end they probably do not feel any different ;-)

Dead doesn't come in degrees.

Actually I've shot a lot of foxes with a 375H&H over the years, their amazing penetration actually does fairly minimal destination.
