Hello from Ga.
I have owned a R93 for several years, shot several owned by friends before that. Just getting back into white tail hunting, more of a target shooter. The accuracy of the Blaser really appeals to me.

Welcome welcome! Some might be interested in hearing a little about you and what cartridge you use. White tail are sure different to hunt than muleys. Tails up like a flag and run for ever when spooked. I enjoyed hunting them with .44 magnum revolver.
Enjoy the hunting!
Enjoy the hunting!

Great choice the R93, despite what some that like the latest shiny thing might say, many here agree you have the pick of the repeating Blaser rifles.
What calibre are you using?

Re: Hello from Ga.
I use a 308 on whitetails. In the pas, used everything from a 30-30 to 300win mag over the years, not in Blasers though. 308 works well with little recoil and is easy to find loaded ammo and components. I have had really good luck with Federal 308 150 NBT in the Blaser and other rifles. The light weight of the 93 is very appealing. I have been tempted by the pro S in the R8.

Blaser Bado, where I hunt it is fairly wooded. Planted pines and some hardwood bottoms and small field with food plots. Longest shot unless you caught one crossing a dirt road is 120 yards. Some shots are under 50. I have been to larger clubs with big tower stands and shots out to 5-600 yards.that is more like target shooting than hunting to me, but to each their own.
