Why doesn't that suprise me.
You would think we have seen that happen again, and again and again.

Re: Yet another Victorian (Australia)
Welcome Rory , I have the M03 as i really liked the safety mechanism and with a 375 h&h and a 300 WM the weight is not really a problem . The thing that also pushed me in the direction was how you can have the Mauser M03 chambered BUT still uncocked and then just silently slide the cocking lever over and you are ready for that brown bear . If i would have had to load a cartridge as my guide would not allow a cartridge in the chamber if i had a normal rifle then that bear would have been gone . So the Mauser M03 is my choice .
But trying to buy barrels and parts is a real problem . I am now trying to add a 222 or 223 barrel and just cannot find one in Australia or how to order one here . So any help from other aussies to point me in the right direction would be great

IIRC the 22-250 was the smallest calibre we ever saw here in Australia to suit the M03.

I have a 223 barrel in my M03. Have seen both 222 and 223 barrels for the M03 but that was some time ago. Contact your local dealer and ask them to call OSA to place an order or obtain a quote.
