Welcome aboard, you will love the Blaser platforms as well as we do shortly. What is not to like about a super stable rifle that just works really well, and is able to maintain precise zero with disassembly for transport and reassembly without worry that the zero may have shifted. It took me a while but now I have complete faith.

Re: Another New Member
After a two month search, I just purchased my first Blaser. I found a fair deal on a slightly used R8 Professional in 9.3x62mm. It has a standard profile fluted barrel. I am eagerly awaiting its arrival. The information available on this site was a big help.

Re: Another New Member
I had planned on a 9.3 as a second or third barrel, but under the circumstances was happy to get it as a first.
