Hello from Vancouver Island

Post by VancouverBC »

Hello all.

I'm from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. New to Blaser rifles. Can't wait to get the new R8 and hunt North America with it. Look forward to chatting with you guys about hunting, adventure and fine guns. :obscene-drinkingbuddies:

That sounds really good right now. Want to trade some of our rain for your sun? Mind you though we have lots of nice mountains to hike and hunt so I can't complain too much :D

I love living in South FL. But don’t get me wrong......I LOVE me some Mountain View’s, fast moving streams, rivers and dense forests. Especially Montana, Wyoming in the West and the Appalachians in the east. Just don’t think I could live through a full winter

I am going with two Blasers (sold all my other junk to get a real rifle) an R8 Ruthenium Grade 8 which will be a collector for me and will go on the odd hunt and then the R8 Black or Professional which will be the work horse. Most of my game has been taken inside 350 yards so I am going with old faithful: the 308

And yes, a beer anytime you are all invited to this part of the world! Black bear season coming up in a few months
