Hi from Toronto!

Post by jackmusial8 »

Hey guys!

My name is Jack and I live in Toronto Canada. I wanted to introduce myself and say how amazing this forum is! I currently own a BBF 95, R93, Sako AV Carbine, A400 light and the list goes on... Im looking forward to hearing any advice and experience from my fellow blaser owners. My new build is an R8 as i bought only the barrel yesterday for a bargain. Cheers guys!

Welcome aboard! You'll like the R8 when you finally get around to putting it together.

Welcome to Blaser Buds, since you own an R93 and BBF you already know about these amazing rifles. The R8 is the most practical of the lot, I to started with an R93 which is a great gun, but I like the R8 even better. I currently have four R8s. What caliber barrel did you buy?

Hi Robert,

I bought an R8 9.3x62 barrel with sight at my local for $590. Im super excited to buy a receiver and put it togeather. I think the round will be a moose thumper.

That is a fantastic buy on a barrel in a fantastic caliber, I've used the 9.3X62 on a wide variety of game from fox and roe deer to African plains game to wild boar. It kills things really well and doesn't waste much meat. I really like it.

Welcome Jack and hope that you enjoy the forum. Great calibre you bought - many of us have a 9.3 and it's almost become a Blaserbuds standard  .
