Hello

Post by ryanlobo »

Hello all,

I am a new member from india.
I am a target shooter and given the laws in our country that make purchasing a weapon the ultimate exercise in Kafkaesque complexity with much waiting and horror involved, I cannot wait for my blaser import which is allowed for target shooters who achieve a certain score at the national games.

Good to meet you all,

Best,

Ryan

Welcome to Blaserbuds Ryan. We have a few other members from India and they too lament the ordeal in obtaining a rifle there. I have heard that it is getting a bit easier than it used to be? Got to keep educating the masses that just because you own a gun you're not a danger to anyone else.

So what caliber you getting your Blaser in?

Make yourself at home.

I didn't realize it was so hard there, I remember reading about the worlds cheapest revolver and thought if concealed carry was ok them firearms ownership can't be that hard.
Is it common practice or a rifles just treated harsher?

Welcome aboard! I've got a friend in Australia that will commiserate with you. Even for me to import my rifle to hunt with was a colossal pain in the butt.

Welcome to Blaserbuds, and congratulations on earning the privilege of owning a Blaser, sorry you had to do that, but glad you did. I've spent some time in Hyderabad, New Deli, Chennai, Pune, Noida and of course Agra. Are you near any of those cities?

Welcome aboard and congratulations on being able to purchase your Blaser. I was not aware of the tough restrictions. Hope that you enjoy your rifle when it arrives and that the Blaserbuds forum can help out with any questions.
