Hello - Florida
Hello,
New to the Blaserbuds forum. I need to learn some specifics on how to change the bolts for different calipers. Currently, I have (2) guns with .300 Win Mag, .375 H&H, .416 Rem Mag barrels on each gun. I know I don't have the change the bolts for these barrels but I want to learn what is needed to shoot a .308, .223, 30-06 barrels. I'm thinking about just getting a different gun for those smaller barrels, but might just get the barrels if the right deal on a stock doesn't come up.
Thanks for the help.

Welcome aboard buddy. Not very hard to do, all you need is a standard bolt head and your good to go.
this for an R8 and the R93 is the same. Piss easy [BBvideo=560,315]https://youtu.be/6ZmFWbCZs4Y[/BBvideo]

Measure it, when it’s on the deck

Welcome to BLaserbuds from a fellow Floridian. The bolt head for 308/30.06 is the STD and for the 223 is the MINI. As the video shows very easy to change.

Welcome to the forum. You will find this board very informative on all things Blaser. Make a few more posts and you will have access to the classifieds section where you might find some of the components you are interested in.

Welcome to Blaserbuds. One of the great features, as I'm sure you're aware, is the modularity of the Blaser R8 8 rifles. Changing barrels, bolt heads and magazines is a snap and no need for an FFL when purchasing those components.

I have been happy with the rifles. They are larger caliber but I want to get smaller calipers as well.

That's the beauty of the system, lots of choices.
I'm sure you will try a bunch out, so welcome and good luck with it.
