My old and New ride

Post by pagosawingnut » Sun Jul 14, 2019 6:03 pm

I picked up the '09 Corvette ZR1 in Pensacola, FL on Wednesday and drove it home. My word, this is a Super car. There isn't a single mark on it, no rock chips, no door dings, Nothing! Had 21,348 miles on the odometer. The Corvette on the left is an '08 that will be my daily driver. Enjoy

Going to be styling it in Lubbock Texas here pretty quick. Cool cars. I saw one the other day that was for sale and just looking at it I thought I'd look pretty good in it... it's still for sale.

Finding them in mint condition isn't the easiest thing to do.

Always been a corvette fan, and silver has always been my favorite color corvette. So compliments on your fine taste 😁 and enjoy your new toy!

You know you are getting old when the Corvette looks good again!

The ZR1's are great rides. I've tracked some of the newer ones and was really impressed against other cars that cost WAY more.

Congratulations on the new Corvette. My Dad trusted me enough when I was 18 to sign for (and I paid for) renting a 1960 Corvette for my senior prom. Auto with 283. It leaked like a sieve. Sure was fun to drive. Went to all the overnight prom activities and still managed to put 275 miles on it in 24 hours, including a trip for Dad and me to the local drag strip.

I've owned 3 others over the years but none of them will match the ZR1 for style and raw power. It's my retirement present to myself.
