My brother lives in Olinda (Dandenongs) and has worked in the city for many years. His trips home have always been uneventful regarding wildlife but in the last few years he now has to be on the alert for deer on the road.
Noticed when I was over shooting last year that there appeared to be more Fallow in the mix. Would this be correct?
They are in certain pockets but generally sambar is the overall dominate species. One place im hunting has fallow, sambar and reds.
Last trip was to a place outside Mansfield where we caught up with a Tassie friend and expat now living in the area. He hunts as well and lately has been chasing pigs as well !! You are certainly getting the full feral bag.
