Please tell me that was not real. Surely it was from the Aussie version of SNL or something.

Nope, apparently they thought it was good, all I can tell for sure is they must be pro drugs.

Its on the front page of their party's sight, right at the top. https://sabest.org.au

The party president is Nick Xenophon, hes been a sitting independent for years in a safe seat, but there's been a rise in minor/micro parties numbers as the people are sick of the stalemate we get with the top 3 parties that only want to maintain their status quo and don't do a thing to help the country.

That ad is so bad that it's good. Every barstard in the media is talking about it and he's getting plenty of free air time.

I just hope he gives the "majors" a good kicking at the polls.

Possibly, luckily he's not anti gun, not pro either.
He's always abstained from voting on firearms policy changes.
He is kind of spineless unless its something he wants, or us irrelevant.

For the last 3 years I and my CEO have been dealing with the SA government, right up to Jay Weatherall. I can say that there are some serious issues with how SA works - or doesn't.

The LDP described SA as a 40 year old male who lives at home with his mum playing on his xbox eating cheezels and drinking chocolate flavour milk. Xenophone responded with a bird with a cheezel on it.

The sad reality is their renewable energy experiment has caused untold misery on pensioners and business. People are murdered for their welfare checks and then placed in barrels. They have senators who think an ABC drama is a documentary.

The have an agricultural sector that overwhelming supports lock the gate in violation of state law and want to start a civil war on windfarms where almost nobody lives.

They have fringe dwellers that plague hindley st and harass tourists every night. They local pistol range is a favourite for people to top themselves and disgruntled patrons fire at random at the crazy horse strip club.

The year before last I stayed the Grand Chancellor where a Sydney chinese prostitute was strangled in a bath and the only reason she was found a day later was because somebody complained water was flooding the level.

I leave you with this

C'mon Chuck say what you really think, do you still have a morbid fear of squid jigs from media reports in the '70's and '80's?

No at least xenophon doesn't say we're on your side and then back pedal come game day.
They outright stab the people who vote for them in the back but always have 1 or 2 members make waves supporting them so they can pretend to support them.

Xenophon just sits down quietly until something comes up that he personally cares about, hes only in the game for himself.
But whats new about that in politics.
