I'm at the airport killing time while I wait to fly out to see the future ex missus Speedy, and I was looking for an Aussie present to get her.
I found the perfect little Nick nack a stuffed kangaroo scrotum keychain, nothing says I love you like a full scrotum and besides if I give her that one then maybe she won't try keep mine in her purse too.

Well I'm talking with the shop assistant and he flat out asks me am I from Texas.

Well 1st off the future ex missus Speedy is a woman so that's got to rule Texas out, but how bad is it when people from Australia don't even know what an Aussie accent sounds like, FMD.

But I suppose this is Melbourne and there's no real Australian here anyway.
Still I have to wait till 23:15 to board and the connecting flight got pushed forward so I've been sitting here since 12:00 so I've a right to be a little put out.

Yep Songkran festival in Bangkok, some fishing for Arapaima followed by a week in bungalow on the beach down at Krabi with the future much younger ex missus Speedy.
I also want to buy one of them super powerful Tasar's and see if I can pay someone to let me shot them with it.

Then next year Cambodia to shoot a water buffalo with an RPG.
I'm ticking things off the bucket list.

mate and his missus and boys are going to Vietnam at the end of the year and he’s going to buy a cow and have crack at it with an RPG. He said if he misses the guy buys the cow back off him.

I don't see how anyone could mistake an Aussie accent with a Texan accent. Must have been the keychain that confused him. Some do make remarks about steers and such in reference to Texans though. But I imagine thats only for those who are from Austin.
