NRA annual Convention

Post by pagosawingnut »

Well, while attending the NRA Annual Convention, (my first by the way) I ran into our dear leader at the Booth he helps with.
He was gloating a bit as he had had his picture taken with Trump Jr.
Looked like he was having a great time.
I'm sure he'll post it.........................

And then, I got to shake his hand at the NRA-ILA banquet tonight. Secret Service wasn't really happy with my concealed SigSauer P320 but didn't make me leave!

The secret service trying to keep an eye out for a gun at an NRA convention, that's like being an evangelist at a gay pride march.

I bought a couple of really nice holsters from a small maker, they threw in several credit card knives. Some concealed carry shirts from 5.11 tactical. Bought a Sable hunt in South Africa with 3 additional hunters included (they get one small animal each and I get the sable) for pennies. Maybe I should have said I stole the hunt. Only gave 2000 US for it
Had my picture taken in a real scale copy of the oval office when I ventured on a tour to the George W Bush Presidential center. Picture was taken behind an exact copy of the desk in the oval office. (I don't look presidential, but I didn't prop my feet up on it like a former "president"
All in all, I had a great time. Worth the trip!

Not just Sable. I got the hunt for the sable, 4 total hunters and they get either an impala or a blesbok each. Hunt was valued at 26,500 and nobody appeared to be interested. Whole hunt for $2,000. Crazy cheap.
