R8 Success Leather, how does it hold up and feel when wet?
Thinking of getting one but not sure on leather.

It is much more durable than you would think. The leather is impregnated with silicon or something similar that helps it fend off wear and makes it pretty well impervious to water. I’ve used mine in soaking wet weather with no ill effect. But sharp claw like thorns do tear at the surface. I have a few cuts from briars and multi floral rose thorns.

I think the leather gets a little slippery I prefer the rubber inserts.

A little difficult with gloves but absolutely fine wet with bare hands

Those multi floral rose thorns are a killer.
