I've dealt with them before and it worked out OK.
My impression was that the shop may have been run by only one person, and that he was under a bit of pressure, and perhaps not as well organised as some would expect.
I probably have an email addy somewhere, but it's probably the same as you are using. I'd suggest gentle persistence for a while and see what happens.
