Old photographs

Post by Rod »

Well I recently found an app which according to my daughter has been around for a while..but it's new to me and I thought I'd try it out on some old photos that I have stuffed away in the store room. Anyway...I'm impressed at how easy this app makes uploading old photographs and storing them digitally. Here's a few...

My old, then new, Toyota ute (1984?). 6 cylinder diesel, 4 speed box. with the tinny on the roof all loaded for a trip to the Kimberley's WA and NT on my Great Northern Safari. Mate and I were away for just over 6 weeks...hunting, fishing and visited our first Casino (what a mistake that was...hung over and broke for the week-end)

The homestead of the property in WA were we stayed and hunted. 2 brothers owned the place and were mates of my mate. Had a bloody great time there. I think the place was about 2500 Sq Miles.

My first Buff. Rifle was a Remington 700 BDL in 300 Winchester. Loaded with 200 grain Nosler Partitions. Scope was a Leupold VXII 3-9 with AO.

One of the many donkeys that we shot in WA and the NT. I think the rifle in that photo is a Rem 700 BDL in 243. It would have been loaded with 85 grain Sierra's. 3 - 9 Leupold.

Was a bloody great adventure

I hate looking at my old photos, great memories but I always look so young and thin.
