If you can't laugh at a homicidal dictator then what good are they.

I've lost a hero, its a sad day indeed.

But at least at 91 he was still standing "tall"

But now he faces his maker and has to give an account for all of his exploits at the expense of other human beings. I would not want to be in his shoes for any amount of fame, fortune, or pleasure he has experienced. In fact I feel very sorry for the man.

Yeah. Never took much notice, but my impression would be that he was a rather sad old man, with a quite a bit of baggage.

Seen this today and had a good laugh. It reminds me of a video where they gave a monkey a AK47 and he shot up the camp. :obscene-moneypiss: :obscene-moneypiss:

In 1986, Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Louisiana State University .

On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air. The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully. He got down on one knee, inspected the elephants foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot.
The elephant turned to face the man and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned and walked away. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.

Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenaged son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn't the same fornicating elephant.

Well for never ending nonsense I will add my latest tid bit.

While I love Thai food, I'm bloody looking forward to not crapping out chilli seeds and big arse red hot flakes.

I can damn well guarantee you it wasn't that hot going in. :angry-extinguishflame:

Reminds me about a guy from Sydney driving down to Canberra for a weekend conference.
He stopped off at Goulburn for lunch, but he wanted a proper country lunch so he stopped off at a little country pub on the outskirts of town.
As he walked in the room went quiet and every eye turned to him, he walked up to the bar feeling very self conscious.
The barman asked quite suspiciously what brings you to town.
He said he's on his way to Canberra for a work convention.
The barman asked what do you do for a living, he said I'm a taxidermist.
The barman asked what's that, the man said I mount animals.
On hearing this the barman relaxed and said it's ok boys, he's one of us.

Actually it could be worse, he could have been a coroner or a medical examiner.

Or worse yet.
