Never shot anything like that but it looks pretty damn good off the bench. If it's manageable seated should be fine standing - especially if something big is running at you.... Did I read 120gr of powder?

The thing is though it seemed to take a lot longer to recover from the shot compared to the 116 grain load, which was only about 85 FPS slower.
If something big and angry was running towards me I reckon I could do a lot better with the 116 grain, as in quicker with the follow up shot.

Makes sense to shoot what you feel most confident in.... if you reckon you can get back on target more smoothly an extra 4 gr of powder ain't gunna matter to what you're aiming at.9.3x64 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 3:56 am The thing is though it seemed to take a lot longer to recover from the shot compared to the 116 grain load, which was only about 85 FPS slower.
