Hi,
I am getting thrown off regularly.
Can I pm someone my IP address please?

Hi guys,

I'm. It sure if it's related, but I'm not getting PM notifications even though they are switched on.

And, most PMs stay in my outbox so I can't contact you directly.

I have checked settings and can't see I'm doing anything wrong. I'm logged out on all other devices.

I would appreciate your help.

Pm notifications come to your email. Check your spam folder.

Pms stay in your outbox until recipetent reads them.

Thanks a lot corjack.

I didn't realise that PMs stay in the outbox till they're read. That clarifies things.

I got the notification for your answer, but not for other things. I will keep an eye on my spam folder.

Thanks again for your help.

Some members have issues receiving PMs because their 'in box' is full. You can only keep 100 in the in box. If you want to save them you need to create a regular Word file (or whatever program you use) on your computer and copy them into it. Once you are done with the old messages you need to delete some to make room for the new incoming ones. If it's full there is a message that comes up above the inbox telling them they have a message pending and to 'release all on hold messages'. Once they are released the user can read the new ones. Here is what the message looks like:

"You have 1 private message currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available."

Thanks thechamp, I've just cleaned up my inbox to create space. It wasn't completely full, but good to know I need to keep an eye on that.

Whilst logged in I regularly get logged out and taken back to the log in screen.
I always tick the remember me option but still have to keep logging in.

However in saying that it has not done it once this morning, which is the first time for a couple of days that all seems to be normal again.

Does that to me as well. Usually when I have a slow connection.

We are having performance issues now. Trying to figure out what is hogging our bandwidth. Seems to be working great at the moment.

1. Bit ninja is blocking IPs, that it thinks are threats. This unfortunately is blocking a few regular members. This is something the hosting company is doing, and I was unaware of it until Dom had a problem logging on. Now others are having issues. . .
I have patience, just rode out the Bit Ninja AHole blocker until they got tired of me and went away. But it took about 2 months, lol, but no recent issues. Now the Ninja may read this and block me again, bring 'em on 8-)

I have bitched and moaned and groaned at the Web Host. They have Bitninja hooked up to the server. I have no way of knowing how many members it has blocked. So far reported was just you and GBE. Only thing I can do, is if a member contacts me, and I contact web host to remove the block. PITA.

I had issues earlier today. I had a redirect page telling me the website was over prescribed.
