Aussies, is this legit?

A place to discuss regulations, or the over regulation in most case, that our members have to deal with in their respective countries. Hopefully discussion will lead to more rules based on common sense, rather than fears by the government.

Aussies, is this legit?

If your Australian and get asked to explain our firearms legislation to a non-Aussie shooter, it’s easy, you tell them they can ask you any question at all as long as they don’t use logic or common sense. For example, when you tell them anyone with a Cat A/B licence CAN buy a bolt-action 460 Weatherby that would kill any animal on the planet, however a .22 rimfire semi-auto rifle is restricted (and also, with my Cat H, I can buy a semi-auto .357 magnum pistol). Ha, Australian gun law “logic”!

Well the new one I heard today is the greens out here want to band high powered AR15 semi-auto delivery trucks and have them restricted to small vans with restrictions on load sizes.
Measure it, when it’s on the deck

Don't forget safety edges on all axes intended for use on public transport.
